Thailand — Currency exchange map

The Thai baht (THB) is the national currency. Tourists exchange US dollars, euros, Chinese yuan, Japanese yen, Singapore dollars and Malaysian ringgit, and large dollar notes usually get a better rate. Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya have the most offers, with more in Chiang Mai, Hat Yai and Khon Kaen.
Exchange booths operate in almost every tourist area and near shopping centres, while airport rates are usually worse than in the city. In Thailand, listings let you exchange US dollars for Thai baht directly with another person, in cash or by transfer.
