🇨🇳 China · currency exchange — Chinese yuan, Hong Kong dollar, Macanese pataca, New Taiwan dollar, US dollar and euro. Payment via Alipay, WeChat Pay or UnionPay can also be arranged.

The Chinese yuan (CNY) is the national currency, and everyday payments are made mostly through mobile payment apps, so cash is needed less often. Besides dollars and euros, Hong Kong dollars, Macanese patacas and New Taiwan dollars are exchanged. Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Chengdu have the most offers.
Cash is exchanged at banks and at airports in the major cities. In China, listings let you exchange US dollars for Chinese yuan directly with another person, in cash or by transfer.
